Women in Ministry Leadership Resource List
There are several publications within the Brethren in Christ, all of which offer helpful resources filled with thoughtful insight into many of the issues of our day. These publications are some of the ways we, as the church, work to stay connected, as we communicate about theology, faith, and scripture and how it intersects with everyday life. You can learn more about these publications by visiting the Brethren in Christ U.S. website.
This Women in Ministry Leadership Resource List was created by Matthew R. Peterson, who serves as Theologian in Residence with the Great Lakes Conference of the Brethren in Christ U.S. and Adjunct Instructor of Greek at Asbury Theological Seminary. In his role with the Great Lakes Conference, he provides theological resourcing and ministry credentialing assistance for Brethren in Christ pastors and churches. He and his family worship at Plowshares BIC in Lexington, Kentucky. It contains information about books, journal articles, and blog posts produced within the Brethren in Christ U.S. as well as select resources that are broadly in alignment with our denominational stance as a church family that affirms Women in Ministry Leadership. May it be of benefit to you whether you are currently working on your Doctrinal Questionnaire, seeking more information about the BIC view, or looking for ways to recognize and support Women in Ministry Leadership within your congregation.
